At Naughty Mutts we provide you with a boutique, one of a kind, experience that you will never ever forget...

Their Relationship with You

On our home page we talk about how we make memories, that we celebrate them, and that we tell their story, and we do that by learning their story first. The only way we know how to do that is to invest time into discovering who they are, and exploring, through photography, their relationship with you.

We are firm believers that a happy and rewarding experience for your dog is the ONLY way to capture the true loving relationship you have. Never will we condone, or accept the forcing of any kind of pose, position, etc. Sure we love getting those adorable poses and incredible action shots, but we never put anyone at risk of injury or fear to get them. This is an absolute must for us, not just from an ethical point of view, but from an artistic perspective also: an unhappy dog is as clear to see in a photograph as is a frown on a child. So let’s be honest here, we have no problems with bribing your fur children with delicious treats and squeaky toys, getting them excited about chasing us, playing in the water with them, rolling in the mud, whatever it takes to get that smile we all know they have!

So be prepared to see your photographer do some completely idiotic dances, lay face first on the ground, and make the most ridiculous sounds you’ve ever heard!

Our Relationship with You

We don’t just take pictures. From the moment you fill out the Contact Us form, we become your advisor. We guide you through every step of the process, from booking the pre-shoot consultation to the final proofing and ordering of your images, we will have an expert opinion in each step along the way. During the shoot(s) we will handle everything you need, from posing, to location advice, to lighting and studio props - we are really good at what we do and promise to make you and your dog look your best! We’ll even show you how to hold leashes for easy removal in photoshop etc.

One final note, as the author of the content on this website I’ve been struggling to find the best place to talk about our senior dogs or those terminally ill and in their final days with us. I think this is the best place because it talks about our relationship with you. We know from first hand experience the heartbreak that goes along with having to say goodbye to them, and no matter how long we’ve had with them, it’s always too soon. Without dwelling on it too much we just want to say that we understand, and in the event that you may need to book a rush session - we’ll do what it takes to make it happen.
